Dan Everett - Development Manager

Dan Everett is a Development Manager and Director of EVERETT, working with landowners, private developers and investors to lead projects from early feasibility through to delivery. He specialises in industrial, commercial, residential and mixed-use developments across Queensland.

At its core, Dan’s role is simple: to take the complexity out of development so clients can stay focused on what matters to them. He provides clear direction, makes informed decisions early, and ensures each project moves forward with confidence and control.

Dan is typically involved from day one, leading site due diligence, feasibility and early-stage strategy. This includes hands-on involvement in council pre-lodgement plans, working directly with local authorities to test ideas, understand risks early, and avoid costly surprises later.

From there, Dan drives the strategy, shaping how each project is presented, coordinated and assessed. The focus is always on getting approvals through efficiently with the right information, the right team, and the right positioning from the outset.

Once a project is approved, Dan remains closely involved through the development management, overseeing procurement, consultant coordination and delivery planning to ensure the project stays aligned commercially, programmatically and practically through to construction.

Dan’s experience spans a wide range of project types, allowing him to move comfortably between straightforward developments and more complex approval pathways. He leads consultant teams directly, providing a single point of accountability and clear decision-making throughout the process.

EVERETT is director-led, with clients dealing directly with Dan, meaning faster decisions, consistent strategy, and clear accountability from start to finish. Dan is also active on the other side of the table. He invests in and delivers development projects himself, including holding and operating assets. This brings a practical, real-world perspective to every engagement with a strong focus on capital, risk and deliverability, not just process.
